Mowida is a recognised Umeå based tech start-up with the mission to revolutionise the real estate rental market with innovative solutions.
We are dedicated in building a modern platform that simplifies the life of landlords and tenants and we firmly believe in the process of co-creating the future solution together with our customers.
At Mowida we have an innovative approach to our working day and working week. We ask our employees for feedback on a regular basis, not just on what we do but how we do it – the will to develop and get better is a part of our daily work. We are a multicultural team of 7 team members with 4 different nationalities from the age 16 to 44.


Senior developer
The role as a senior developer requires that you are able to develop a web platform and supporting services in the listed languages without training or active management. You should have at least 5 years experience in delivering components and web sites.
Regarding education we expect that you have completed university or other education-based learning or have relevant level of job experience that includes python development as well as web development. In addition, we expect you to have used Agile project management techniques – we use Jira Atlassian as our project management platform – so experience with DSDM, SCRUM, Kanban, etc. is a plus.
In addition to being able to deliver on a regular basis at a reasonable tempo we expect that you will also take on board project management whilst the other senior developer(s) are on leave, however this will not be a regular requirement.
We develop on PCs using Windows and Linux. Whilst we do not expect you to be a Linux guru you should have in mind that we will be needing you to run Linux commands, scripts etc.

Junior developer
In the role as a junior system developer we see you as a driven person who has recently completed university or other education-based learning or job experience that includes python development as well as web development. 
We do not expect you to come with all the skills and experience and will provide training and education to expand your knowledge. However, we do expect you to have a working knowledge of the required languages and not just read the Wikipedia pages. There will be a senior developer on hand to assist and act as a mentor during your first 6 months with us. Delivery on a regular basis is expected.
