Nasdaq is looking for a QA Test Manager to join the RTC Clearing team.

The QA Test Manger is responsible for implementing organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources, while being accountable for the business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes or programs.
This role is also responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. Managers are required to understand how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.

We are working with an interesting and complex product with very high quality requirements. You will join a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers, Test Engineers, and Project Managers.

Responsibilities:
·      Develops departmental/functional plans, including business unit and/or production priorities, to address resource and operational needs and challenges.
·      Identifies, establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers internally and externally.
·      Provides subject matter expertise to clients, team members, colleagues, etc. on projects.
·      Participates in both internal and external projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy.
·      Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with internal and external teams to understand risks, priorities, etc. and ensure a successful end result.
·      Evaluates current business processes and systems, ensuring cost-savings and risk control.
·      Coordinates financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency.
·      Reviews team and individual performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels.
·      Motivates, develops, recruits and retains employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams.
·      Leads QA/Test Analysts in a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
·      Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
·      Experience within QA testing or software development
·      Experience leading or managing a team as well as QA Test program

Skills and Requirements:
·      Knowledge in agile test approaches and the software development life cycle
·      Ability to create a test strategy, test plan and test cases
·      Strong knowledge of Java and tools such as JIRA, Eclipse, Jenkins and GIT
·      Experience supporting and interacting directly with clients
·      Experience from the financial industry
·      Good knowledge about Exchange Clearing functionalities is meriting Visa mindre

You will be part of development team based across Stockholm and Umea delivering our RealTime clearing system to our tier 1 customers. This has a great impact to clearinghouses meeting the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement, across markets.

Your role and responsibilities:

* Contribute with your knowledge on how to design and build high quality software as well as mentoring and leading others to deliver production ready solutions according to agreed specifications.
* Design solutions and write code of good quality that solves difficult problems in a distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and quality.
* Be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; from design, implementation & testing to release & deployment to monitoring & troubleshooting to maintenance & enhancement.
* Impact what we build and how we build it by taking lead on small and big tasks within the project.
* Be involved in technical discussions with the customer, leading up to designs and decisions around around the solutions we deliver.

We expect you to:

* Have 5+ years of experience developing backend Java applications. Ideally with some form of lead/architect experience
* Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or similar or equivalent working experience
* An outgoing and self-driven attitude along with your sense of structure and creativeness.
* Experience from highly complex, distributed and resilient transaction intensive systems
* Highly experienced with Java 8+
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Meriting experiences: Financial markets, Javascript, React/Redux, Swagger/OpenAPI, ReactiveX, K8s, Docker

* Applied knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript (React) is considered a strong plus.
