Responsibilities
Service, repair and improve: Working with Tesla specific software and advanced tools you will be performing repairs and maintenance on all types of Tesla vehicles.
Driven: Efficient in completing repairs and driven to exceed expectations on quality and productivity. Become proficient to perform all common repairs and some complex repairs autonomously.
Ensure top quality: Fix it right first time, we trust you to inspect our vehicles diligently before return and pre-delivery
Collaborate: Working across teams (local and over the region) you will be sharing support and best practices in order to further improve the service experience.
Develop: Setting you up for success our dedicated in-house training teams offer a blended learning strategy to help develop your technical skills. And by also sharing your own skills and knowledge with the team, you’re a part of driving the whole group forward.


Requirements
Technically experienced: You have professional experience performing vehicle service and repairs working within either automotive, aviation, marine or similar industries.
Technically qualified: You have relevant certification to perform vehicle repairs in Sweden. You will self-manage your technical expertise development.
A good communicator: You speak and write English well and know how to get your point across clearly and respectfully.
Safe to drive: We require you to hold a driver’s license.
Flexible: You may work in shifts to support your team, which may include weekends, morning and evening shifts. You are willing to travel when needed.

What You’ll Do
Confidently communicate with customers as a Tesla ambassador through digital channels, and face-to-face to provide: Scheduling/status updates, and payment requirements
Educate customers on Product, Tesla App, and answer any questions using customer friendly language
Maintain a tidy, representable customer facing area (customer lounge, service entrance), and organize the parking lot
Manage the service fleet, performing damage audits, flagging service requirements, and car cleaning
Develop a good understanding of Tesla’s products and service operations to perform basic, visual diagnostics and accurately record repair orders into systems
Partner closely with internal teams (e.g. technicians) to guarantee customers' cars are serviced efficiently and seamlessly
Take on minor escalations, resolve and defuse difficult conversations across all communication channels. Advise and educate your customer on Tesla warranty policies


What You’ll Bring
Relevant experience in a customer facing role delivering excellent service, preferably from a technical or automotive environment
Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers
Ability to excel in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
Excellent problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive
Digitally savvy – ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems
Good knowledge of MS Office
Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in both English and Swedish
Must have and continue to maintain a valid driving license and safe driving record

Tesla Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Readiness Specialist to join our team in Umeå. This position is on-site, and could require travel within the country up to 20%. You will be responsible for executing a world-class customer experience by enabling vehicles to be customer-ready at the time of delivery.

What You’ll Do
Use Tesla proprietary software to log damages to vehicles due to transportation damage, and ensure that the paperwork is submitted correctly for claims
Perform a technical inspection on all vehicles prior to delivery, document and rectify any issues that are found
Ensure that the vehicles are delivery-ready: license plate holders attached, customer accessories installed, plastic removed, etc.
Move vehicles around safely and effectively, ensuring that there is a good flow from the lot to the delivery bay
Keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition using our internal software
Operate steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment
Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles using a variety of products and methods according to standard
Apply protective finishes to the exteriors of our customers’ cars
Perform touch-up paint work if required
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs



What You’ll Bring

Prior experience with vehicle detailing, polishing, buffing, and washing preferred.

o Meet our customers: As a part of Tesla’s Mobile Service, you will meet our customers at their location. Your interaction will contribute greatly to our customers experience and impression of Tesla.
o Service, repair and improve: Carry out basic technical repairs and non-HV diagnostic work without supervision. This includes interior components, maintenance, alert analysis, door handle maintenance and adjustments.
o Support customer education: When meeting our customers, your interaction will include helping them understanding technology and particularities of their Tesla vehicles. To be successful, you will develop a solid knowledge of all Tesla products, Service systems, processes and procedures.
o Collaborate: As a Mobile Service Technician you act with big independence, but always as a part of a team. You support your team locally and across the region, sharing best practices and working together.
