Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Proven CAD and PDM experience, preferably Catia V5, PDM-Link and KOLA
Experience of designing BIW structure and class A surfaces for automotive is seen as a plus
Practical hands-on experience of building/modifying steel structures is seen as a plus
Minimum 5 year mechanical engineering experience
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

The cab plant in Umeå has a capacity of 75,000 cabs per year and is Norrland's largest manufacturing industry with approximately 1,400 employees. The production facility is one of the world's most modern cab plants with advanced manufacturing technology based on robots and computerized monitoring. The production is based on customer orders. This means that each cab is unique and made entirely according to customer requirements. We are a team of 4 senior automation engineers who take great pride in our work. We work mainly in Umeå within our processes stamping, body in white and paint. We work close with technicians, engineers and project managers to achieve our goals.

Main activities and responsibilities:

The logistics department at the Umeå factory designs and setup internal logistic flows to deliver all the parts needed to build a cab. We are responsible to support and develop all internal logistic processes from goods receiving to point of use. Together with productions engineers, material handling, line operators and production managers we work to continuously improve our internal logistic processes. We participate in all product and process projects that have an impact on logistic flows. As a member in our department you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust each other and embrace change to stay ahead. 
 
Main activities and responsibilities: 
We are looking for a committed future production planner and logistics engineer to help us make Umeå a world class factory in cabs manufacturing. Main work will be to apply lean thinking and improve our internal materials flows. Along with your trainee period you will work with a cross functional project between the planning department and logistics engineering department. You will focus on the knocked down material flow and visualize the planning for the internal material flow in the Umeå factory 


As a production planner and logistics engineer you are the one setting up a material flow making it possible for the parts to be delivered in an optimal way to the right place at the right time, in order to build a premium quality cab. The solutions you work out are the most efficient way from a safety, ergonomics, and cost perspective. You balance the workload for the internal logistic processes and make sure that the logistic operators have the right conditions and tools in order to perform their job. You will work with both daily and long-term solutions.

Requirements
You hold a Master or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources & Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or other equivalent area along with several years of experience from a qualified HR's role in an organization with well-developed HR processes, ideally from an international industrial company. Your experience includes labor issues, negotiations, organizational changes etc. You have several years of prior management experience and a good understanding of the business context and challenges as well as extensive knowledge and understanding of Applied HR. You are a team player used to build and maintain professional networks across different business functions. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.

Du blir en av våra medarbetare på Business Control som idag består av sex personer. Avdelningen svarar för den övergripande ekonomiska kontrollen. Till uppgifterna hör att samordna, bedöma och sammanställa de ekonomiska planerna på kort och lång sikt, redovisa och följa ekonomiskt utfall i form av rapporter, bokslut, statistik och prognoser. Sammanställning av produktkalkyler och ekonomiska utredningar är också en del av verksamheten. Förutom ekonomi- och projektarbete arbetar vi med tvärfunktionellt ledningsarbete inom respektive produktionsområde och stödfunktion.

Business Control är en mindre grupp vilket innebär att vi söker en person som är flexibel och är villig att assistera andra på avdelningen när så behövs. Du bör ha förmågan att arbeta både självständigt och i grupp.
