In your day-to-day work, your main focus will be coding on our products, but you’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in testing, user experience, system integration, continuous integration, and more. You’ll work closely with your teammates, product leadership and sometimes our customers, so it’s important that you’re versatile in your role as a developer.
Qualifications
We are looking for a developer who is genuinely excited about product development and considers it one of the most fun parts of the job! This position is for one of our two product teams.
This role is a great fit for someone who has moved beyond the junior level and is currently or about to step into a mid-level position. You’re comfortable being communicative and taking ownership when needed, have a proactive mindset, and make sure things get done on time. When the situation calls for it, you’re happy to step up and take the lead. You have a strong interest in the product perspective and may even have ambitions to work as a Product Owner or in a more product-oriented role in the future.
A background in computer science, interaction design or engineering is a big plus, but what matters most to us is who you are as a person. Most importantly, you’re excited about the video and media industry and want to build great things together with us.
As a developer at Codemill, you’ll have the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and ways of working, playing a key role in moving the product forward – from idea to delivery.
Since we work internationally, fluent English is essential, as well as being comfortable with flexible working hours from time to time when we collaborate across time zones.
About the Position
This is a full-time position based at our office in Umeå, Sweden. We offer flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely when needed.

Om tjänsten
Som Ekonomiassistent kommer du att ansvara för kund- och leverantörsreskontra samt fakturering. Du kommer även att arbeta med bokföring och avstämning av konton samt hjälpa vår CFO med månadsbokslut och momsdeklaration.
Utöver ditt dagliga arbete med fakturor och bokföring kommer du att kunna utföra administrativa ekonomiuppgifter och även stötta arbetet med försäljning och affärer på företaget. Ditt dagliga arbete är varierat och kommer att innehålla många olika arbetsuppgifter.
I tjänsten som Ekonomiassistent finns stora möjligheter att få ökat ansvar och utmana dig själv med mer avancerade uppgifter över tid.

Dina kvalifikationer
För att lyckas i denna position behöver du vara proaktiv, strukturerad och pålitlig. Ditt dagliga arbete kommer innehålla mycket kommunikation med chefer, kunder och leverantörer och du behöver kunna kommunicera med dessa intressenter på ett effektivt sätt. Du behöver kunna kommunicera flytande på engelska, mestadels i skrift men även i tal då du kommer att träffa engelsktalande kollegor och kunder i ditt dagliga arbete. Som person är du service-minded, ambitiös och villig att lära dig nya saker.
Vi ser gärna att du har en akademisk bakgrund inom redovisning eller ekonomi och det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet från en revisionsbyrå. Detta kan också vara det perfekta stället att börja din karriär på om du tar examen i år och har jobbat lite under dina studier.

Working as a UX Researcher
At Codemill we work in agile teams with focus on usability and sustainable, well-coded solutions. Your responsibility as an UX Researcher is to ensure that user and customer needs are properly researched, documented and understood by all product teams so that we can deliver better solutions to their problems. A big part of the staff has UX knowledge and work as UX Designers or UX Developers, but this will be our first UX Researcher position. This job involves (but are not limited to):
Together with the team, defining and setting up a UX research strategy (gathering, storing, and disseminating research data).
Participating in customer meetings.
Qualitative and quantitative research with end users.
Defining user types (personas).
Documenting and sharing user workflows and needs.
Communicating customer requirements and user needs continuously with stakeholders, designers, & developers.
Supporting PMs with feature prioritization & scope.
Participating in ideation sessions and evaluating ideas for new solutions.
User testing of new and existing features (internally and externally).


You will report to your Team Manager and together you will have regular follow-ups to make sure that you are satisfied with your work situation and have the opportunity to develop your competence. You will have close communication with your teammates and in these pandemic times we are using digital technologies to maintain our good collaboration.

Your qualifications
For this position we are looking for someone with at least a few years of experience within the UX field. We prefer that you have worked close to customers and end users and that you have used different methods to gather research data. One of the most important things is that you find the video- and media business interesting and want to build great things together with us.
It’s preferable if you have an academic background within for example Interaction Design, Information Systems or Behavioural Science. As a person you should be service-minded and proactive, curious to learn new things, enjoy collaborating with others and willing to share your knowledge.

Future opportunities
As a part of the Codemill staff, you have the opportunity to develop your skills further regardless if you want to have a wide set of skills or if you want to specialize in something specific. We always strive to use modern technologies and innovative solutions and right now we focus a lot on cloud distribution and security. About the position
The Analyst role could as well have been called Businessman or Sales person, since you will work with sales and be part of the Sales Department. This individual will be a part of establishing new cloud based go-to-market strategies to achieve desired outcomes and implementing these strategies in practice.
The Analyst will work both in teams with experienced salespeople, as well as independently. The tasks consist of outreach processing with the selected customer segment and target individuals via e-mail, telephone or other types of marketing activities.


Who are you?
You need to have a strong drive to succeed and easily find your own motivation in the business. As a person you are unpretentious; a hard working individual who wants to learn how to do business and make the business grow. You are responsible for achieving your own sales goals, based on your analysis of the customer target group in the part of the market you are responsible for. We think that you are newly graduated from your academic studies or have been working as a mid level sales representative with proven, excellent results.
